PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING--
I don't
guarantee what colors my goslings will end up at maturity.
I am a firm believer of happy customers and have always thrived on repeat
business.
I won't make promises I can't stand behind. Therefore, I make absolutely NO
guarantees of colors other than this...
I have breeding pens of four colors........white, buff, saddleback, & grey.
My birds in various breeding pens probably have the potential to carry genes
able to
produce all (or most) genetically available colors. I can't, won't, & don't
assure my customers what color
the goslings will end up being as adults, ONLY that both parents
of a gosling were out of a certain color breeding pen.
Underlying genetics have a profound effect, and I'm not claiming to understand
those effects on final outcomes of coloring.
I also don't guarantee whether goslings will end up as smooth or curly
breasted.
If you don't
understand the above statement, please DON'T purchase Sebastopol goslings from
me.
I want ONLY happy and satisfied customers :-).

Our foundation flock of Sebastopols were individually
chosen for their beauty from
We consider them gorgeous, wonderful, curious, friendly, comical,
curly-feathered pets!!
Their goose-down feathers do a great job of keeping them comfortable here in
our
Because of their curled feathers Sebastopols are
unable to fly which makes them perfect for pasture grazing amongst our sheep
flock.
No constant wing-clipping or pen covers to keep these beautiful birds where
they belong…….
and they are as easy as any other livestock to keep contained……...and MUCH more
beautiful than most other pastured livestock!

POTENTIAL RISKS OF SHIPPING GOSLINGS
I do everything possible to ensure that
my birds arrive to their destinations safely.
However, once they leave my hands we are all at the mercy of the US
postal service.
Unfortunately, I have NO control over USPS handling or potential delays.
Sometimes when shipping live animals via the USPS, the "next day
guaranteed delivery" turns out to be 2 days.
Likewise, their "2nd day guaranteed delivery" could potentially turn
into a delay until the 3rd day.
All customers ordering goslings from me and requiring shipping must BE AWARE of these potential risks.
CUSTOMERS MUST REALIZE: When shipping is necessary the customer assumes ALL
risks/loss associated with shipping.
Absolutely NO refunds will be given due to ANY type of losses during shipment.
NO EXCEPTIONS!!
We feel VERY fortunate that the
Without their service, we and our customers would be left with no other
reasonable options for delivery.
Air freight is an alternative option but it is quite a bit more costly.
Therefore, since the USPS is the only real shipping option
available, our customers must
either assume the risks involved with
Postal Express shipping OR purchase
your birds locally.
PREPARE FOR YOUR NEW GOSLINGS
To prepare for your goslings’ arrival, hang a heat lamp (approx. 18 – 20 in.)
above the area where goslings will be residing.
Make absolutely sure it is secure & presents NO fire hazard!! SAFETY
always….double secure the hanger.
For newly hatched goslings the temperature at ground level should be approx. 90
degrees. Lay a thermometer on the bedding to check temp.
Offer luke-warm water immediately upon removing them
from shipping box and placing them into their new home.
Their water container should be sized so that immature goslings aren’t able to
drown or soak themselves but so they can access it easily.
Gently push their beaks slightly into the water unless you see them drink
immediately. A few fresh greens such as spinach, lettuce, or
young, tender grass (cut into ¼ inch pieces) may be offered immediately to
encourage appetite.
After an hour you should introduce dry granular feed. You should check on them
often, but refrain from holding them constantly
for the first few days. Enjoy your new
friends and be sure to take LOTS of photos constantly because they grow FAST…..
so FAST, that you’ll swear they’ve consumed a vast
supply of steroids!!
If you bring small amounts of fresh greens when visiting, the goslings will
rapidly associate your visits
with the arrival of tasty treats, thereby creating a quick & permanent bond
with them. Most important is to ENJOY THEM !!!
Please contact
us for current availabilities of goslings in our future hatches.
IMPORTANT:
ALL of our goslings
are sold unsexed (& therefore should average approximately 50% males/50%
females)
If the sex of goslings is known, they will be sold in pairs (one male, one
female)
This assures we aren’t left with excessive males.
If you have questions that aren’t answered here, please email us.
Thank you
for your interest!!
